Boombera Park Macadamias - Employment Opportunities
Boombera Park Macadamias in Northern NSW is one of Australia’s largest macadamia developments and will be a major contributor to the local economy of the Northern Rivers region. The project is being implemented by Arrow Funds Limited.
At completion, the orchard will be approximately 840 planted hectares and will produce around 8% of Australia's macadamia nuts.
Planting of the orchard has commenced, and the roll out of a sophisticated water management and irrigation system is well advanced. The project location is surrounded by farming land, national parks and areas of environmental significance. Management of the natural resources at Boombera Park is central to the philosophy of the development team and will feature in the ongoing management of this modern orchard.
As part of the scaling up from development to production, a range of employment opportunities exist. This suits local experienced farm operations staff looking for a shift to the macadamia industry, those looking for a ‘sea and tree change’ from inland production areas or those with a background in macadamia production looking for a change of scenery.
The nearby towns of Lawrence and Maclean offer wonderful rural living, with the beachside lifestyle of Yamba not far away. Grafton offers larger town services less than an hour from the farm, and the hot spots of Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour and the Gold Coast are all within 2 hours.

Orchard Operations
Trees don’t grow themselves, and we need a small team of operations staff to take care of them! Ideally, we are after staff with at least 3 years’ experience in orchard operations and with experience operating farm machinery.
The list of jobs around the property is vast, so you will also need to be willing to jump onto urgent tasks and to work with minimal supervision. It is a large property, and we need a group of dedicated workers who have the same passion as the development team in seeing this property flourish.
